Plot[]

Chapter 1[]

"It is said that within every loss, every challenge... and every failure... there is a gift.
When beloved friends/revered heroes [determinant] are lost... we find new ones in our heroes/friends [determinant].
When we're given grief... we find a way to give it back. / When faced with a mind-bending problem... we find a way to rise to the occasion. [determinant]
And when our band of unlikely adventurers are tasked with saving the world from the coming storm... they will bring together the bravest and the brightest to stop it.
But finding the last and most elusive member of the Order of the Stone and his legendary Formidi-Bomb... would prove their most perilous mission yet.
For some would rather our heroes' story end here... shutting the door on their adventurers forever.
But, like all doors, when one closes, another is bound to open...

The slowness effect from Ivor's potion wears off, though Jesse and the group remain trapped in the library. Using the amulet, Jesse locates Soren deep underground, and also notices that Magnus and Ellegaard are heading in opposite directions from each other. Meanwhile, either Gabriel or Petra's Wither Sickness worsens.

The group digs into a massive automated mob farm known as the Mob Grinder. A creeper explosion damages the tunnel they are in, causing Jesse to drop the amulet onto a platform dangerously far from reach. After battling through waves of mobs, they are able to retrieve the amulet, but are flooded by a sudden torrent of water that sends them plummeting into a crusher. Luckily, a creeper explosion destroys the crusher just in time, allowing them to fall into the water below unharmed. They are then sucked into a loot room through ducts, where they encounter more mobs that fell through the crusher. They stumble upon an End Portal and, cornered by mobs, are forced to jump in.

Chapter 2[]

"Great. Whoo, man. So we were trapped, and now we're lost."
Lukas to Jesse's Gang in The Endsrc

The group enters The End, an otherworldly realm of islands suspended in emptiness, and find themselves surrounded by a mob of Endermen. The gang immediately evacuate out of sight of the Endermen. Olivia asks Jesse where they were headed, but when they pull out the Amulet, it just shuts off. Petra/Gabriel points out that navigation devices do not work in other dimensions. They spot Soren heading up a staircase and pursue him. Jesse can choose to let Lukas lead the group through the Endermen or lead the group him/herself.

Chapter 3[]

At the top of the staircase is a vast artificial world entirely of wool built by Soren, known as the Wool World. Lukas is discouraged and storms off, believing that Soren has lost his sanity and will not be of any help to them. Jesse has the option to talk with him and tell him about Gabriel or Petra's Wither Sickness. Should Jesse reveal this information, Lukas will feel sorry for not helping save them in Episode 1. If not, he will find out later and become upset. Afterward, Jesse discovers and unlocks a hidden puzzle door, which leads them to Soren's mansion.

Chapter 4[]

Olivia: "Okay, so if Soren is using those blueprints to teach the Endermen to build... And there's a disguise missing from the stand..."
Jesse: "He must be conducting his experiment right now!"
—Jesse and Olivia in Soren's house. src

Inside the mansion, Jesse and Olivia hear a voice and music playing from behind a door. Assuming it is Soren, they enter, but realize it is a jukebox playing a recorded message. Frustrated, Olivia searches for clues; Jesse has the option to continue listening to the recordings. They find blueprints inside a chest, which they theorize are being used to teach Endermen how to build. Following the blueprints, Jesse gathers clay blocks and ventures outside, wearing an Enderman disguise. He/she then places the blocks according to the blueprints when he/she is suddenly knocked unconscious by a figure in an Enderman Suit.

Back inside, the figure reveals himself to be Soren. Although initially suspicious, he agrees to help the group when Jesse shows him the amulet. If Gabriel is present, he and Gabriel will reunite. Suddenly, a mob of Endermen start infiltrating the laboratory, forcing them to flee into the halls.

Chapter 5[]

Realizing that Endermen are scared of water, Jesse breaks several fountains inside the mansion to repel them. With the End now flooded, Soren and the group escape back into the Overworld.

Arriving back at Soren's fortress, the group fight through mobs that have escaped the Mob Grinder. Soren spawns an army of Iron Golems to fend them off and reveals that the Formidi-Bomb hasn't been made due to the volatile nature of its crafting materials, which can explode in close proximity. The group gather gunpowder and a Super TNT block, preparing to craft the Formidi-Bomb, but their progress is interrupted by a mob of Enderman infiltrating from the End. They escape through a minecart rail which leads them back up to the surface.

Chapter 6[]

Magnus and Ellegaard join the group as they face against a large horde of mobs, only to realize the mobs are fleeing from the Wither Storm. As the Wither Storm draws near, Jesse volunteers to craft the Formidi-Bomb, leading Petra/Gabriel to denounce Magnus and Elleguard. Both Magnus and Ellegaard urge him/her to take their armor; Jesse must then choose whose armor to equip before crafting the Formidi-Bomb. Upon detonation, the Wither Storm is defeated; however, Magnus or Ellegaard (depending on whose armor Jesse decided to wear) is struck by one of its tentacles, ultimately killing them.

The group rushes to help victims freed from the Wither Storm; among them is Gabriel or Petra (whoever Jesse did not save from the Wither Storm in Episode 1). To their dismay, they discover the creature's Command Block still intact, enabling it to regenerate into three separate entities. The group retreat to a safer location. Adding insult to injury, it is revealed that Gabriel or Petra (whoever was trapped inside the Wither Storm) suffers from amnesia.

"Faced with a devastating defeat... Our heroes will have to search deep within themselves... In order to rise above tragedy... Heal broken friendships... Untangle bitter rivalries... And find the strength to make one last stand against the storm."

Impacts[]

Depending on the choices made in previous episodes, the plot may slightly differ. This list shows the narrative consequences.

  • Petra or Gabriel's roles will be switched depending on who Jesse saved in "The Order of the Stone", one taking up a major role and the other appearing at the last minute.
    • If Petra was saved, and Jesse did not trade his/her sword with Otis, she will use a golden sword for the entirety of the episode. If Jesse did otherwise, Petra will have an iron sword instead.
  • If Jesse traded his/her sword with Otis, he/she will have a golden sword for the entirety of the episode. If Jesse did otherwise, then he/she will have a stone sword instead.
  • Depending on the player’s past decisions that include Reuben, when Jesse gets sucked in by the command block, Reuben's reaction to this will differ.
