A Spider Jockey are hostile mobs seen in Minecraft: Story Mode. It's a Spider being rode on by a Skeleton.

Appearances

• In "A Block and a Hard Place", Spider Jockeys appear while Jesse's Gang is running away from the Wither Storm.
• In "Order Up!", a Spider Jockey appears and attacks Jesse and Milo while Sky City is overrun by Hostile Mobs. Milo throws off the Skeleton and attacks it, while Jesse kills the Spider.
• In "Access Denied", Jesse can see a Spider Jockey in Crown Mesa with a Mind-Control Chip attached.

Trivia

• Spider Jockeys spawn extremely rarely in Minecraft, with only a 1% chance to spawn in place of a normal spider.
• In Minecraft, a variant Spider Jockey with a Wither Skeleton rider also exists, however only in The Nether.
• The Spider and the Skeleton are two separate mobs, similar to someone on a Horse. Therefore, if either the Skeleton or the Spider is killed, the other one will continue fighting.
• In Episode 7, Petra/Lukas kidnaps Harper while riding a spider, which is impossible in normal Minecraft.
