Redstonists (a.k.a. Redstoners or Redstone Engineers), are a class in Minecraft: Story Mode who excel at utilizing redstone to make machinery or power them.

Redstonists are good at utilizing redstone-related blocks and items to create functioning machines and to automatize work. They tend to be highly creative and intelligent as they often need to form new innovative ideas and solve complex problems in order to create new redstone-related inventions.

- Most redstone engineers live in Redstonia. The most famous is Ellegaard, founder of Redstonia. However, it is unknown if the redstonists still live in Redstonia, since it was destroyed by The Wither Storm (determinant).
- Stampy Cat is mentioned to be the Tri-Block Champion by Lizzie (determinant) and Dan, and Stampy will confess if he is interrogated last.
- If Jesse interrogates Stampy first, then Lizzie, Lizzie will say that Dan is able to make traps, while Dan doesn't confess his redstone skill at all.
