A Potato is a food item found in Minecraft: Story Mode.

Appearances

• In "The Order of the Stone", banners with baked potatoes can be seen at EnderCon.
• In "A Block and a Hard Place", when searching for food, there are four potatoes available in the swamp. Jesse can decide to eat them or to give to his/her friends.
• In "Above and Beyond", Jesse obtains a normal potato and a poisoned potato in the Terminal Space. If the poisoned potato is placed, the Golden Gauntlet is obtained; if the normal potato is placed, it initiates a parrot party.

Trivia

• If Jesse chooses to eat the potatoes, he/she mentions that they are his/her favorite food.
  • This can be mentioned again in "Below the Bedrock", to give Ivor a fact 'only the real Jesse knows'.
• When Jesse picks the fourth potato, he/she will sing "One potato, two potato, three potato, four," which is a reference to a nursery rhyme.
