Glowing Obsidian is a block similar in appearance to obsidian. However, it functions as a light source. It has the same texture as regular obsidian, but with a red tint.
Appearances[]
- In "Hero in Residence", the Sea Temple contained cages made of obsidian and glowing obsidian.
- A part of the Wall of the Builder, one of the Structure Blocks, is made of glowing obsidian.

- This block is exclusive to Minecraft: Pocket Edition.
