"Giant Consequences" is the second episode of Minecraft: Story Mode - Season Two.
Plot[]
Chapter 1[]
- "DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN DEFEAT ME, JESSE?"

The Admin, manifesting as a prismarine colossus, stands before Beacontown's gates. Demanding an audience with Jesse, the Admin commends Jesse's past successes and achievements before revealing his true intent: a direct confrontation to test him/her. He shatters the platform beneath Jesse and begins attacking the town, sending the citizens fleeing in terror.
The Admin uses a giant clock to shift the time to night. He smashes the town's gates, allowing hordes of hostile mobs to flood in. Petra/Jack (depending on who is present) distracts the Admin, allowing Jesse to repeatedly place the Structure Block they had obtained earlier to shield the citizens and strike back. However, the Admin retaliates, causing Jesse to lose the block. The Admin consumes it, forcing Jesse to flee.
The Admin catches and nearly devours Jesse, but is stopped by Lukas, who fires an arrow into the Admin's eye just in time. Lukas and Jesse escape on Lukas' horse. While Lukas distracts the Admin, Jesse climbs the colossus' figure and strikes a weak spot on the back of its head, killing it. The Admin explodes into shards of prismarine and is seemingly defeated, leaving behind only the clock.
Chapter 2[]
- "The minute I see anything out of the ordinary I'm coming to get you as fast as my hustlesticks will carry me. My, uh, my legs."

As Petra, Jack, and others fend off the hostile mobs, Jesse, Radar, and Lukas reset the clock to daytime. The citizens of Beacontown begin rebuilding their town using the remains of the colossus. Radar and Lukas both volunteer to guard the clock to ensure no one changes the time again, leaving Jesse to choose one of them for the task.
Choose Radar: Jesse chooses Radar to watch the clock, allowing Jesse and Lukas to tend to the town together. Lukas later checks on Radar to make sure everything is secure.
Choose Lukas: Jesse chooses Lukas to watch the clock over Radar, who disappointedly walks away. Lukas, however, acknowledges Radar's quick thinking during the earlier battle and praises his idea to seek help.
With Reuben's Memorial destroyed, Jesse rebuilds it. Nell arrives, informing Jesse that Petra is waiting nearby. Jesse then meets Jack and Vos, who are crafting prismarine items and discussing their next adventure. Nurm appears with Petra, who hesitantly reveals that she plans to join Jack and his team on their journey.
Before the group can discuss further, snow begins to fall. They realize it is another of the Admin's schemes when Jesse's gauntlet glows upon contact with the snow. Moments later, the Admin, now manifesting as a snowman, appears. He resets the clock back to night and summons more mobs, forcing the citizens to flee. Jesse entrusts Nurm, Stampy Cat, and Stacy Plays with protecting the city before setting off with Petra, Lukas, Jack, Vos, and Radar for the Admin's Icy Palace of Despair, which the Admin previously revealed holds another challenge for him/her.
On the way to the palace, Petra, still feeling guilty for hiding her plans, confides in Jesse about wanting to find her "true calling," just as their other friends have, while also wanting Jesse to be happy. While conversing, the group encounters Stella and Lluna. Stella, curious about the snowfall, decides to join Jesse's group in the adventure.
Chapter 3[]
- "Oh, I thought I recognized you! You're the quitter who used to work on my inventory management team!"

After an arduous, long walk, the group finally arrives at the palace. Lukas spots the clock perched atop the palace's summit. Stella recognizes Radar and reveals that he used to work for her before quitting. Radar then confesses that he used to live in Champion City, much to Jesse's surprise, as he/she had no idea about Radar's past.
Exploring the area, Jesse pulls a lever, setting off a display of fireworks and summoning the Admin. The Admin introduces his latest twisted challenge: the first person to reach the clock and smash it gets to spend more time with him in the future. To kick off the challenge, the Admin blows a massive hole beneath the group, sending them tumbling into the depths of the palace.
Chapter 4[]

The group lands on an icy floor as the hole above seals shut, cutting off any chance of escape. Stella, ever opportunistic, announces her plan to sabotage Jesse's group, aiming to reach the clock first and curry favor with the Admin to advance her own ambitions. Unfazed, Jesse and the others stumble upon two minecart tracks leading into separate tunnels. Lluna, having sniffed the way to the clock, joins Stella and leads her down one track. Petra and Jack follow them, though Lukas argues against splitting up and takes Radar down the other track. Jesse must decide whether to accompany Petra's group or Lukas' group.
Go with Petra's Group
Jesse joins Petra and Jack but quickly realizes they are separated not only from Lukas and Radar but also from Stella and Lluna. Pressing forward, they encounter a puzzle embedded in the floor. The Admin appears and traps Petra and Vos in cages suspended above the ground.
Petra's cage contains a web-like pattern with missing pieces, while Vos' is encased in ice. Jesse works to solve the puzzle; first, they provide Petra with clay to fill the gaps in her cage's pattern. As Petra is released, a dispenser releases additional clay for Jesse to arrange on the floor according to the pattern. Meanwhile, Jesse hands Vos a torch to melt the ice in cage, revealing a chest containing Redstone. Vos passes the Redstone to Jesse, who uses it to finish the other floor puzzle.
Just as Jesse completes the second floor puzzle, the floor collapses beneath them, and a swarm of icy spiders, creations of the Admin, attacks. To Jack's horror, Vos is knocked into the waters below. The group escapes the spiders.
Go with Lukas' Group
Jesse joins Lukas and Radar. They find the Admin waiting near what resembles a shooting gallery. He summons Vos and instructs the group to shoot all the targets—representing mobs—without hitting the "villagers," under threat of being shot themselves if they fail. Jesse finds a bow and arrows and begins the challenge.
The group eventually manages to clear the gallery. However, sections of the floor give way, and a snowy iron golem emerges, knocking Vos into the waters below. Jesse, Lukas, and Radar defeat the golems; Jesse rips the pumpkin head off a golem and uses it to unlock the exit door.
Chapter 5[]

After completing their respective challenges, Jesse's group reunites with the other group at the base of the palace. They spot Vos, Stella, and Radar (if Jesse joined Petra's group) drifting in water toward the surface. The Admin appears again, flinging either Radar or Jack (depending on which group Jesse joined) into a separate room. Without hesitation, the group gives chase.
Inside the room, they find Radar/Jack floating uncontrollably, having been struck by a shulker. Jesse provokes the shulkers to attack him/her, allowing her to propel him/herself upwards in pursuit. Just as he/she reaches Radar/Jack, the floating effects wear off, sending both plummeting back to the ground. If Radar was the one who was attacked, he lands safely in the water instead of crashing onto the hard floor.
Jesse hears Lluna on the other side of a thick wall and crafts a diamond pickaxe to mine through. Just as they find her, however, shulkers attack then, sending them all floating towards the ceiling.
Chapter 6[]
- "I'm done letting YOU make ME feel bad! I prefer to feel good, and I'm gonna feel real good when I send you two to a place where you'll never see the light of day! Ever… again!"

As the group floats higher, they discover Stella and Radar encased in blocks of ice. They are then attacked by icy ender creepers, another of the Admin's creations. Jesse must decide who will reset the clock—Petra or Jack. While either climbs to the clock, the remaining group battles the creepers. Jesse also works to free Radar and, if present, Stella from their prisons. Petra/Jack destroys the clock, resetting the time and disrupting the Admin's power.
Vos begins acting strangely before ultimately revealing that he is the Admin in disguise. The Admin reveals his true form and confirms that the real Vos had died years prior, leaving Jack devastated by yet another loss of his friend. The Admin taunts Jesse, mocking their inability to destroy the clock him/herself and pointing out that Petra/Jack did it instead. He suspends Jesse, Petra, and Jack in the air; Petra/Jack (whoever destroyed the clock) is forcibly given the Prismarine Gauntlet, now transformed into a menacing red color.
The Admin teleports Petra/Jack to an unknown location before sending the rest of the group to a separate, also unknown location.
Post-credits Scene[]

In a post-credits scene, an off-screen voice describes the building he is inside. He elaborates on the structure's features, its inhabitants, and the Admin's intentions for those within its walls. The scene then cuts abruptly to a dangerous prisoner, restrained in a straitjacket and muzzle, laughing maniacally.
Impacts[]
Certain choices in this episode are influenced by decisions made earlier:
- Whoever Jesse helped in the previous episode assists Jesse in distracting the Admin during his attack on Beacontown.
- If Jesse helped Petra, Jack wears an eyepatch over his injured eye.
- If Jesse helped Jack, Petra wields an iron sword since Miss Butter was lost.
- Jesse uses the Structure Block chosen in the previous episode to defend Beacontown against the Admin in his prismarine colossus form.
- If Jesse entrusted Radar with leading Beacontown in the previous episode, Radar references this when volunteering to guard the clock, saying that he/she has put him in charge before.
