Gabriel the Warrior more commonly referred to as Gabriel, is the overarching protagonist of Minecraft: Story Mode. He was a former member of The Order of the Stone, a group of legendary heroes who falsified their legacy. He was considered by many to be the greatest warrior of all time. Gabriel was voiced by Dave Fennoy and he makes his first appearance in "The Order of The Stone".
Overview[]
Appearance[]
Gabriel appears to be a dark-skinned man with a moustache. He also wears navy tinted armor with diamonds embedded in it.
Personality[]
Gabriel is a very strong and brave man, who, according to legend, was the one who killed the dragon with his famous final blow. He always wanted to help people, and even after the truth about the Order of the Stone was revealed, Gabriel felt guilty and wanted to make things right.
Gabriel, however, was flawed in his thinking that friendships slows one down and are only bindings. Jesse, however, disagrees and proves this to be wrong through their actions (determinant).
Gabriel is shown to be very grandiose and egotistical, proclaiming himself "The Mighty Gabriel" and describing himself as "terribly handsome".

Death (Faked, Determinant)[]
Killed by[]
- Wither Storm (Faked, Determinant)
If Petra is saved in Episode 1, Gabriel will get consumed by the Wither Storm and instead of dying it caused him to get Wither Amnesia which freaks him out for not realizing Soren and the others and Jesse's friends. He later gains back his memories after the Wither Storm is defeated.
Inventory[]
The Order of The Stone[]
- Diamond Sword
- Amulet of The Order of the Stone (Formerly)
Killed Victims[]
The list below shows the victims Gabriel has killed:
- The Ender Dragon (Alongside The Order of the Stone, zapped out of existence)
- Several Hostile Mobs
Trivia[]
- Dave Fennoy also voiced Lee from Telltale's The Walking Dead: Season 1. Both characters get a serious disease at some point in the game (Gabriel gets Wither Sickness (Determinant) and Lee is bitten by a zombie). Both characters' skin turns very pale after contracting the disease.
- Gabriel is the only member of the Order wearing a helmet even after Episode 1. The rest don't wear any headgear after the episode.
- If Jesse goes for the amulet in Episode 3 instead of helping Reuben and Axel, Gabriel will credit Jesse for this, unlike Petra (if you saved her in Episode 1), who will scold Jesse for going after the amulet instead of Axel and Rueben.
- Gabriel along with Petra had Wither Sickness. He will catch either the weakening or amnesia type of the disease depending on Jesse's choice in Episode 1.
- In Above and Beyond, Ivor said that the last that he heard from Gabriel was that he was doing the “wandering warrior” thing, implying that Gabriel had started going out adventuring on his own after the events of A Block and a Hard Place.
