Elder Guardians are aquatic Hostile Mobs, that appear in Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2. They are larger counterparts of the guardians.

Overview

Abilities

Like their smaller counterparts, elder guardians are capable of firing a laser from their eye, it acts the same as the guardian's laser, being deadly to both squids and humans.

Appearances

In "Hero in Residence", two elder guardians appear in the Sea Temple to determine if Jesse is worthy of getting the Structure Block. They are killed by both Petra and Jesse afterwards.

Trivia

The Elder Guardians are often incorrectly referred to as "guardians" by the main characters: Jesse, Petra, and Jack, specifically.
In Minecraft Story Mode, Elder Guardians are shown to be helpless out of water. This is contrasting to regular Minecraft, where they can endlessly hop around and fire laser beams just fine on land.
